Has Construction Along Florida Avenue Changed Your Commute?

The project involves resurfacing and fixing drainage issues, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

Construction continued on Monday morning along Florida Avenue in Seminole Heights as state transportation officials moved forward on a drainage and resurfacing project.

The Florida Department of Transportation project, which began earlier this year, forces closure of the right lane on Florida Avenue near Hillsborough Avenue.

Sign installation, drainage fixes and resurfacing will occur along Florida Avenue throughout the summer, according to FDOT spokesman David Botello.
