What Do You Think of Seminole Heights Businesses Opening and Closing?

In the past year, new eateries and businesses have opened and closed along Florida Avenue and other corridors in Seminole Heights.

In the past year, local businesses in Seminole Heights have come and gone.

While an art supply store sprouted along Florida Avenue, a nursery store and a market nearby closed their doors. Meanwhile, a restaurant planning to serve smoked fish and other local delicacies is set to open by year's end.

Some residents call the new businesses a local resurgence, while others say the closures are signs of a still-fledgling economy attempting to gain footing.
