The City of Tampa is proposing zoning changes to Seminole Heights, according to a posting on the Old Seminole Heights Neighborhood Association's newsletter and the Hampton Terrace website. An open house about the rezoning will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29 or at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 1400 N. Boulevard, the OSHNA newsletter says. Four stories allowed on 50 ft lots 2 blocks north and south of Hillsborough seems really out of place....if my neighbor were to sell one of his lots between him and myself - it sounds like someone could erect a 4 story apartment building there as long as it conformed to ARC guidelines. That would look ridiculous! I don't know if there are any four story buildings in the area this affects. Between… more ›
