OSHNA: City of Tampa Proposing Zoning Changes in Seminole Heights

The changes would include Florida Avenue, according to the Old Seminole Heights Neighborhood Association's website.

The City of Tampa is proposing zoning changes to Seminole Heights, according to a posting on the Old Seminole Heights Neighborhood Association's newsletter and the Hampton Terrace website. An open house about the rezoning will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29 or at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 1400 N. Boulevard, the OSHNA newsletter says. A public hearing will also be held at 5 p.m. on Feb. 14 in city council chambers, according to OSHNA. Here are the proposed changes from OSHNA: For more information, call 813-274-8131. Four stories allowed on 50 ft lots 2 blocks north and south of Hillsborough seems really out of place....if my neighbor were to sell one of his lots between him and myself - it sounds like someone could erect a 4 story apartment building there as long as it conformed to ARC guidelines.
