With Thanksgiving around the corner, the holiday tent at Metropolitan Ministries recently opened. To help those in need, Corbett Prep Student Council led a school-wide effort to collect and pack 961 cans for Metropolitan Ministries “Compassion + Action” network to provide support for the homeless at the tent. Student Council Advisors Jenn Jagdmann and Stephen Shoe coordinated the drive, and Corbett Prep moms volunteered to deliver the boxes of canned goods. This just in from Corbett Preparatory School of IDS: Corbett Preparatory School of IDS, a school for PreK3 through eighth grade, will host Admissions Open Houses on Wednesday, Oct. 17 and Wednesday, Nov. 28, beginning at 8:30 am during which prospective families can become acquainted with the school. The Admissions Open Houses will begin with an overview of the school conducted by Headmaster Dr. Joyce Burick Swarzman.
