The owners of a famous West Tampa institution are coming to Seminole Heights.
The Capdevila family is best known for the building of the West Tampa empire known as La Teresita, but soon, the family will have a Seminole Heights location added to its legendary tale of Tampa success. The former Seminole Heights Bakery location at 5214 North Nebraska Avenue is undergoing a makeover and is planned to reopen as "Sabroso" in the next 4-6 weeks. The large ovens of the former bakery was the biggest attraction for owners Albert and Luis Capdevila "It will have some of the items from the La Teresita menu but we're going to be able to branch out with this project and create some new dishes that don't normally fit into the La Teresita design," Luis Capdevila said.
