If you're searching for some fun this weekend, look no further than the streets of Seminole Heights. Beginning on Friday, April 5, Relay for Life kicks off at Hillsborough High School. The fundraiser for the American Cancer Society will draw local residents as well as those from Ybor City, Tampa Heights and Sulphur Springs, organizers say. The event - free and open to the public - begins at 6 p.m. on Friday at the school's track, and all funds raised go to the ACS. Food and other goods will be sold during the event. Seminole Heights Relay for Life Hosting Team Party

The event is on Monday, Feb. 11.

If you want to get involved in Seminole Heights's Relay for Life, a team party is being held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 11 at Metropolitan Community Church at 408 E. Cayuga Street. Relay for Life Planning Meetings, Kick-Off Party

In April, cancer survivors will gather at Hillsborough High to raise money for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in Seminole Heights. In the meantime, planning meetings and a kick-off party are being organized to drum up support for the event. Seminole Heights to Raise Money for Cancer Research with 18-Hour Walk

Relay for Life of Seminole Heights begins Friday night, April 13, at Hillsborough High School.

The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Seminole Heights will begin on Friday night, April 13, and will continue through Saturday morning, April 14.  Relay for Life is an overnight fundraising event where teams of people camp out around a track and take turns walking it to raise awareness and money for cancer research. Food, games and activities provide entertainment and fundraising opportunities. The Seminole Heights business will highlight new skin care products and help raise money for a local Relay For Life team this Thursday, March 29.

Learn how you can protect yourself from cancer and help others fighting the disease at Cleanse Apothecary's upcoming "SPF 101 Protect Your Bum from the Sun!" event. The party happens this Thursday, March 29, from 6:30-9 p.m. and will include tasty treats and cocktails. Cleanse Apothecary, 5127 N.
