If last Saturday's abundance of yard sales around Seminole Heights seemed coordinated to you, your observation was correct. The Old Seminole Heights Neighborhood Association's Great Neighborhood Yard Sale commenced under a clear fall sky, and speckled the area with 25 mini bazaars from 7 a.m. to the early afternoon. Ann Delach, coordinator of the day's largest yard sale at St. Paul Lutheran Church, said business has improved since the church merged its yard sale with the OSHNA event in 2007. “There's more traffic,” she said. “(OSHNA) has more clout, and better publicity for these events.” Still, the church got an early start and opened its yard sale on Friday, filling its education building with member vendors.
