Westbound Selmon Exit to Kennedy Boulevard Closed
The exit will re-open in late May, according to officials at the Florida Department of Transportation.
Attention, drivers: Make sure you note the following change to your commute, courtesy of the Florida Department of Transportation: The westbound Selmon Expressway (SR 618) Exit 8 to SR 60 Kennedy Boulevard/Downtown-East closed on Sunday and will remain closed until mid-to-late May for reconstruction. Don't fret, because FDOT offered a detour: Use Exit 7, Downtown-West (Morgan Street/Brorein Street) to downtown Tampa. To go to Kennedy Boulevard after exiting, turn right onto Morgan Street and go north to Kennedy Boulevard.
