Calico Kitty Found in Swamp Seeks New Parents

Tarzana the kitty was once named "Jellybean."

From Marti Ryan, spokeswoman for Hillsborough County Animal Services: Hillsborough County Animal Services' Officer Darla Van Eerde coaxed this crying Calico kitty out of a swamp and dubbed her "Tarzana."   A microchip soon revealed she'd once had a home and the name "Jellybean."   But she's not answering to that, and the Easter Bunny has not coming in to claim her, either. County Hosting 'Neighborhood Pit Bull Day' for Pets, Owners

On Saturday, Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., Hillsborough County Animal Services, along with Best Friends Animal Society and the Hillsborough Animal Health Foundation present Neighborhood Pit Bull Day: a party for pit bull terrier type dogs (pits and pit mixes) and their people.
