Once a year, customers at Health Mutt in Seminole Heights are honored with a day geared toward them. This year, Customer Appreciation Day will be from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 1 at the store, 6116 N. Central Avenue. During the event, customers can expect a 15 percent off discount on items, goodie bags for the first 50 customers, raffle prizes and vendors who will talk pet nutrition and give away samples, said owner Kendra Bailey. "We are letting people know to bring their furry friends with them so they can taste test the food samples," Bailey said. Health Mutt Celebrates One Year Anniversary

Last week, Health Mutt celebrated their one-year anniversary in Seminole Heights with an event for pets and their parents. About 400 people showed up at the event to adopt dogs and raise $300 for animal rescue groups, said owner Kendra Bailey. "I promoted the event for a little over one month, so I was so excited there was a great turnout," said Bailey. Health Mutt will host a Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday, June 2. Swing with your four-legged friend by the store at 6116 N. Health Mutt to Offer Teeth Cleaning

For pets, not their owners.

Have you been procrastinating getting your pet’s teeth cleaned? Here’s your chance. Health Mutt will host an anesthesia-and-drug-free dental cleaning for dogs and cats starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, and Friday, June 1. Store owner Kendra Bailey has partnered with Canine Dental Service and holistic veterinarian Kristen Swanson for the occasion. Teeth cleaning on pets should be performed every six months, according to Bailey. As an added bonus, pets will get a complete veterinary physical exam prior to the teeth cleaning at the store located at 6116 N.   Health Mutt, a boutique serving pet owners with high-end foods, accessories and in-store dog wash, is having its grand opening Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The store is located at 6116 N.
