Sulphur Spring Walking Tour Set for Sunday
Harvest in tha Hood will take folks for a walking tour and discuss some of the innovative projects dedicated to uplifting the community on Sunday, April 22.
Harvest in tha Hood, a non-profit organization that employs and educates at-risk teens in Sulphur Springs through the growing, harvesting, and distributing of locally grown produce, will host a walking tour of Sulphur Spring this weekend. The walk will highlight some of the innovative organizations and neighborhood residents who are dedicated to uplifting the community. The event is to encourage students and community members to participate in neighborhood projects that work towards sustainability and positive change. The tour will starts at Layla’s House, 1516 E Eskimo Ave., at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 22.
