Relay for Life of Seminole Heights Wrap-Up Party Set for Monday Night

The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Seminole Heights will host a wrap-up party at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 7, at the Common Ground Christian Church. Fundraising totals will be announced as well as awards for the top individual and team fundraiser. The event is open to everybody at the church at 4207 N. Boulevard. Relay for Life of Seminole Heights took place April 13-14, at Hillsborough High School. Thirty-two groups with a total of 403 participants took part in the 18-hour long event at the school at 5000 Central Ave. Relay for Life of Seminole Heights event chair Chad Daughtrey said that this year’s goal was to raise $52,000.
