Video Released in Morning Bank Robbery
A surveillance video of a robbery at the Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union has been released by the Tampa Police Department.
The Tampa Police Department is looking for some help to identify a suspect wanted in connection with a late morning bank robbery. According to a media release, the crime happened around 11:45 a.m. today, Jan. 4, at the Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union, 1910 E. Hillsborough Ave. A man walked into the bank, handed a teller a note and implied he had a gun. The teller saw an outline of what is believed to be a gun and handed over an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was wearing a white baseball cap, black T-shirt, black shorts and black-and-white shoes. He had a gold bracelet on his right wrist on a purple band on the left, the release said. What a dirt bag. I use this branch all the time. I know that they have signs that say "no hoodies or sunglasses". They need to change the signs to also ask people to remove their hats/ball caps, and they should refuse to serve anyone who keeps theirs on.
