Tampa Catholic High School is coed and affiliated with the Roman Catholic church. It was founded in 1962More by the Diocese of St. Petersburg to serve the families of Hillsborough and Pasco counties. The school's administrative leadership changed a number of times over the years, and in 1984 it was assumed by the Congregation of Christian Brothers.

Tampa Catholic offers an honors program, a college-prep program and an academic assistance program. More than 99 percent of Tampa Catholic graduates go on to attend a college or university. Students are required to study four years of theology, attend religious services and perform 20 hours of community service each year.

Tuition for the 2010-11 school year was $8,760 for students whose parents are identified as parish-supporting and $11,090 for all others. The school colors are green and white. In 1965, the mascot was changed from the Colts to the Crusaders.

This is a parish of the Holy Catholic Church of the Anglican Rite. It is run by the Bishop Ordinary of the Diocese ofMore the Resurrection. It uses the traditional  Gregorian Plainchant and the Chruch's liturgy is a Mass according to an adapted Sarum use. Central to that is the Gregorian Canon of the Mass, contained within the authorized People's Missal of the Anglican Catholic Church. The Rector is the Reverend Father Mark Rowe.
