With a variety of entertainment venues and restaurants in the area, there's no reason to spend the weekend at home. We've put together a list of fun things to do in the Seminole Heights area.

Cuban Cultural Fest
The first Cuban Cultural Fest will take place Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19 starting at 11 a.m. at The Cuban Club, 2010 N. Avenida Republica de Cuba, in Ybor City. The festival will feature Cuban artists, musicians, performers and cuisine.

Third Saturdays
Every third Saturday of the month from 2 to 9 p.m., Cold Storage Craft Brewery, 4101 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, hosts food trucks, live music and craft beer tastings.

Learn to Row
The Tampa Athletic Club will host an adult weekend row workshop Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the McNeel Boathouse at the University of Tampa. The cost is $150 for both days.
Dinner at the German-American Club
The German-American Club, 6111 N. Rome Ave., Tampa, will host a Sunday dinner May 19 starting at 2:30 p.m. For $8, diners will be served baked ziti with meatballs, bread, salad, dessert, coffee and iced tea.
Live Music at The Front Porch
The Front Porch Grill & Bar, 5924 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, hosts live music each Friday starting at 7 p.m. This Friday features Genghis Flan.
Sunday Morning Meditation
The Florida Community of Mindfulness, 6501 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa, hosts meditation and Buddhist teachings with Fred Eppsteiner each Sunday at 10 a.m.
Live Music at Ella's
Each Friday at 10 p.m., local musicians perform live on the Ella's Americana Folk Art Cafe stage, 5119 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa.
Community Garden Workday
Everyone is welcome to come to the Seminole Heights Community Garden, 407 W. Violet St., Tampa, each Saturday at 9 a.m. to lend a hand with the garden.
Dog Pack Walk
Dog owners are invited to gather for a leisurely walk and social time each Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Henry and Ola Park, 502 W. Henry Ave., Tampa.
Karaoke Night
American Legion Seminole Post 111 invites the public to have an evening singing along with karaoke each Saturday at 8 p.m. at the post, 6918 N. Florida Ave., Tampa.
Bingo
American Legion Seminole Post 111 hosts bingo every Sunday and Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the post, 6918 N. Florida Ave., Tampa.
Weekend Workout
Tyree's Fitness offers sports conditioning and functional training for all ages each Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Rivercrest Park, 4802 N. River Blvd., Tampa.
Fitness Class
A fitness class will be held Saturday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the outdoor stage at Lowry Park 7525 N. Boulevard, Tampa. The cost is $1.
