Meals on Wheels Receives $250 from OSHNA

The donation came from home tour proceeds.

The Old Seminole Heights Neighborhood Association presented a check Tuesday evening for $250 to during the a general membership meeting at the on Central Avenue.

The money derived from proceeds of the , which was held in April.

Tuesday night's "Eating Meeting" was a potluck. Member Shawn Hicks posted a recap on OSHNA's Web site saying the meal's highlights included roasted, home-grown okra, a cherry cobbler covered with pecans and pot roast with roasted vegetables.

Also at the meeting, former OSHNA president Jeff Harmon was presented with a plaque in appreciation for his time on the board of directors.
