Seminole Heights took part in the American Cancer Society's annual fundraiser.
Thirty-two teams from around the Heights communities gathered on the field at to camp out, light luminaries in remembrance of loved ones and walk in support of finding a cure for cancer.
UPDATE: As of Saturday morning, Seminole Heights' 500 walkers had raised more than $45,000, according to event organizer David Simon. The event, which began Friday evening, lasted through the night into Saturday morning.
