Reader's Spotlight: Public Invited to Tampa Catholic Field Naming

The school at 4630 Rome Ave., Tampa, will host the first night baseball and softball games in the school's 50-year history and name the baseball field for the school's former head baseball coach.

Residents are invited to join Tampa Catholic High School students and staff Friday, Feb. 15 when the school hosts its first night baseball and softball games and dedicates the baseball field in honor of former head baseball coach Peter J. Mulfry.

According to an event listing on Seminole Heights Patch posted by the school at 4630 N. Rome Ave., Tampa, the ceremony for the first softball pitch will take place at 5:15 p.m. and the first baseball pitch and dedication ceremony is planned for 6 p.m.
