SH Bicycle Club Long Rides

On the third Saturday of each month, these rides leave promptly at 8:30am from the Seminole Heights Garden Center - through neighborhoods, along waterfronts and urban areas with various terrain.

We have two groups you can ride with:

Intermediate: A moderately-paced ride, between 10-14 mph, covering about 18 miles. We make our roundabout way to Davis Islands, ride the perimeter and stop at a coffee shop on the island before heading back through Central Tampa. A very scenic ride that varies from leisurely to the opportunity to practice (or learn) urban riding skills. The ride leader will pace the ride according to the level of riders present.

Advanced: This group is for the somewhat more advanced rider, keeps a faster pace around 16-20 mph with no scheduled stops, covering 20-30 miles.

As always, helmets are required and participants ride at their own risk.
