“Let It Snow” Weekend at the Children’s Museum

The children’s museum celebrates frosty weather with a host of fun activities, including making ice cream out of liquid nitrogen and painting with a concoction that dries to look like snow. Here’s today’s lineup:

1pm and 3:30pm - Snow Painting: Paint with a special concoction that dries to look like puffy, fluffy snow.

1pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm - Snowy Science: Learn some cold weather science at the demonstration cart.

2pm to 3pm - Snowflake Bracelets: Make a pretty wintry bracelet to wear or give.

1pm to 2pm, and 3pm to 4pm - Paper Snowflakes: Fold and cut snowflakes with paper. Use patterns or create your own.

2pm - “Snowball” Fight: The museum uses soft white balls to have an indoor snowball fight (play nice, everybody!)

3pm - Snow Storytime: Wintry stories for the little ones.
