2011 Girl Scout Kick-Off Event: “Journey Jam!”

Current members of the Girl Scouts and their families -- and those interested in learning more about the Girl Scouts -- are invited to “Journey Jam!” This is a chance to connect with other Girl Scouts and volunteers while participating in a variety of activities. Discover ways to make a difference, connect with others with the help of professional storytellers, and learn how to be an eco-hero.

This is the kick-off event for the new membership and program year. The Girl Scouts of West Central Florida serves eight counties in the Bay area: Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sumter.

Partners for the event include Busch Gardens, Exploration V, The Florida Aquarium, the Glazer Children Museum, Great Explorations Children’s Museum, LEGOLAND, the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI), the Polk Museum of Art, Lowry Park Zoo and University of Florida Polytechnic.

Admission includes access to all activities and a Girl Scout patch.
