17th Annual Police Memorial 5K Run and 1-Mile Run/Walk

The City of Tampa and the Gasparilla Distance Classic Association present this annual event to raise money for the Tampa Police Memorial Fund.

Event happens rain or shine. The 5K is a USATF-certified course with Chronotrack B-tag timing.

Race-day registration opens at 6:30am. 5K begins at 8am. The 1-mile run/walk begins at 9am.

All participants receive a T-shirt. The Columbia Restaurant will provide black beans, yellow rice and the original "1905" salad to all finishers.

Prizes awarded for the top overall men, women, sworn law enforcement officers, and age groups (8 and under; then five-year increments from 9 until over 70).
