Rain Delays Chamberlain vs. Freedom Softball Semi-Finals, Again

For the second day in a row, the game has been called due to the bad weather.

In round two of the high school softball postseason, the Chamberlain Chiefs were scheduled to face the Freedom Patriots on Wednesday afternoon at Chamberlain High School. The game was postponed due to bad weather on Tuesday night, April 30.

After the skies opened up again, it's likely some fans were left wondering if this game will have to be played out two innings at a time for the entire week.

That's right, the game was postponed again. When the call to stop play came on May 1, Freedom was leading 3-2 in the top of the 4th inning. The game will resume Thursday, May 2, but a time has not been set.
