Pirates Invade Seminole Heights Elementary

Students offer a musical DIY on how to become a pirate.

looked more like "Extreme Makeover: Pirate Edition" on Thursday night.

Dozens of students joined voices and belted out a spirited version of Greg Gilpin's "How to Be a Pirate in Seven Easy Songs."

The school's primary chorus served as a kind of opening act, offering two sea-inspired songs by Teresa Jennings, followed by a Canadian street rhyme.

The intermediate chorus then took the stage led by Captain Belle Santo (Sofia Starkey) and First Mate Esteban Rubio (Adriana Davis).

The Master of Ceremonies was Joni Lopez.
