Patch Editor Speaks At Bryant Elementary For Great American Teach-In

More than 350 professionals headed out to Hillsborough County Schools on Nov. 15

An alert and engaged class of fifth graders heard from Patch editor Nicole Hutcheson this morning at Mary Bryant Elementary School.

As part of The Great American Teach-In, Hutcheson spoke to the class of about 40 students about working in news and running the Westchase Patch website.

More than 350 professionals spoke at schools across the county on Thursday Nov. 15. Volunteer speakers included active members and veterans of the United States Armed Forces; police, firefighters and paramedics; and animal trainers, attorneys, business professionals, chefs, elected officials, entrepreneurs, musicians, and school board members.

The Mary Bryant PTA members were integral in planning the event.
