Lee Elementary to Host International Community Festival

Enjoy live performances, raffles and a spaghetti dinner at Lee Elementary on Friday night.

will host its first International Community Festival from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, April 27.

The festival will feature live performances, presentations, vendor booths, raffles, and a spaghetti dinner fundraiser at the school located at 305 E. Columbus Dr.

Each grade level will showcase the continent studied throughout the year with fun activities, including a traveling craft project where students can create their own multi-cultural take-home masks from 4-5 p.m.

Folks are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a concert in the courtyard from 5-5:30 p.m., when the African Drumming ensemble and K-5 Strings students will show off their skills.

Raffle prizes include baskets with beach and sports items, such as sunscreen, beach balls, and water toys, as well as girly items, such as lip balms, lotions, slippers and bathrobes.
