Kenny Chesney Concert to Benefit Teaching Tools for Hillsborough Schools

Donations of school supplies will be collected at the concert on Saturday.

Hillsborough County Public Schools is partnering with the Kenny Chesney Band and the Tampa Sports Authority to collect donated school supplies beginning at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the school bus located on the south plaza of Raymond James Stadium.

Fans are encouraged to bring school supplies to Chesney's concert and drop them off at the bus or in one of the boxes located near each entry gate. Parking lots open at 1:30 p.m. and gates open at 3 p.m.

Supplies that are collected at “Stuff the Bus” drives are available free of charge to teachers and students in need.

Teaching Tools for Hillsborough Schools is a program of The Hillsborough Education Foundation a not-for-profit, 501 C-(3), organization that supports educational projects and programs that are not funded by tax dollars.

Teaching Tools currently serves 100 Title-I schools and educational sites throughout the district, reaching more than 2,300 teachers and 50,000 at-risk students every year.
