Hillsborough School District Announces Summer Food Service Program

Free breakfast and lunch offered at several area schools for all youth 18 and younger.

Hillsborough County Public Schools will sponsor the “Summer Food Service Program for Children” Monday through Thursday, from June 13 through August 12, at several of the district's schools with summer school programs.

The program is similar to the National School Lunch Program. It provides nutritionally balanced meals to children regardless of race, color, sex, disability, age, or national origin during the summer vacation when school breakfast and lunch are not available.

All children 18 years old and younger are eligible for a breakfast and lunch at no charge, regardless of whether they are enrolled in summer school.
