Water Line Repairs to Temporarily Close Bird Street
The repairs should only take a day. Detours will marked.
From City of Tampa Water Department:
Both directions of East Bird Street will be closed between North Nebraska Avenue and North 9th Street starting at 7 a.m. Thursday, while City of Tampa Water Department crews perform water line repairs. Local marked detours will be in effect for traffic approaching this section of Bird Street.

Repairs are expected to be completed later in the day. Normal traffic patterns are scheduled to resume by 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with traffic flow. Drivers should seek alternate routes. Please use caution when traveling in the area.
