Solid Waste Labor Day Holiday Collection Schedule

From the City of Tampa:

The collection schedule for City of Tampa customers with regularly scheduled collection days on Monday will be affected by the Labor Day Holiday.

There will be no residential garbage, yard-waste recycling, or blue-box recycling collection on Monday. Residential garbage collection services for customers affected by the holiday will resume on Thursday. Residential recycling and yard-waste collection will resume on the next regularly scheduled recycling collection day.

The Labor Day Holiday collection schedule for the Department of Solid Waste & Environmental Program Management’s remaining services is as follows:

McKay Bay Transfer Station/Scalehouse will be closed on Monday. Normal schedules will resume on Tuesday. The Manhattan Brush Site is officially closed.

Commercial Services from Monday through Saturday will occur one day after the normally scheduled day.

There will be no Solid Waste Enhanced Environmental Program (SWEEP) collections on Monday. If your neighborhood is scheduled for a SWEEP collection, it will resume on Tuesday.
