Runoff Election to Determine Mayor

Tampa City Council incumbents Charlie Miranda and Mary Mulhern re-elected by large margins.

The election is over — for some.

On Tuesday, Tampa voters re-elected two incumbent City Council members — District 2 Councilwoman Mary Mulhern and District 6 Councilman Charlie Miranda — and voted in Frank Reddick as councilman for District 5.

The city's next mayor will be decided in a runoff election on March 22 between candidates Rose Ferlita and Bob Buckhorn. In addition, runoff elections for races affecting Central Tampa will be held for Districts 1 and 3.
