Rally for Light Rail Set for Monday
Residents angered over Gov. Scott's recent refusal of $2.4 billion in federal funds for high speed rail will rally in downtown Tampa.
The Livable Tampa Roundtable has organized a rally for Monday in support of high speed rail for Florida and to protest Gov. Rick Scott's refusal of $2.4 billion in federal funds for the proposed project.
Particpants will appear at noon in downtown Tampa's City Hall Plaza, southeast corner of Kennedy Boulevard and Franklin Street.
