Obama Tells Tampa It's Time to Move America Forward

President Barack Obama is addressing an Ybor City crowd this morning.

President Barack Obama has taken the stage at Ybor City’s Centennial Park.

"I've come to Florida today to ask you for your vote," Obama said. "I've come to ask you to help me keep moving America forward."

Today’s rally in Tampa is just one of the stops President Obama will make on his “America Forward!” tour. Before touching down in Tampa today around 7 a.m., Obama visited Iowa, Colorado and Nevada on the tour. Later today, he’s expected to pay visits to Virginia and Ohio.

Obama’s visit isn’t the only presidential campaign stop scheduled for the Tampa Bay area this week. His Republican challenger, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, has also scheduled a rally in Central Pasco’s Land O’ Lakes at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.

Stay with Patch for details about both campaign visits as they develop.

Yes; well aware of facebook. It is where friends, family and other likeminded acquaintances get to gather to share things. So basically, you are saying that facebook is where you and your friends get together to share racist jokes and have a big old hoot about it. So at least we have a good idea of who you and your friends are, who feel that this is appropriate humor.

Consider these facts before you vote: 1. Is the economy better off now than it was four years ago? Based on the evidence, I'd have to say no. Wages are down, the the prices of everything we buy is up. The price of gas has doubled. Good jobs are scarce. 2. Are the slight "up tics" in the economy a solid trend in the right direction? I don't think so. First, the gains are very slight. Second, I believe they are the result in the temporary stimulus by the Federal Reserve, in which they printed a lot of new money. It provides a slight bump now, but the cost will come later - after the election. Ben Bernanke is trying to save Obama's job, along with his own. 3. The continual misrepresentation of Romney on the auto bailout by the Obama administration. Obama appears to be taking complete credit for the bailout, while simultaneously saying that Romney was for liquidation of the auto industry. This is an absolute falsehood. It was Bush who initiated the bailout and TARP. Obama continued it and then expanded it, to his credit. However, Romney was one of the first to say that the industry needed to go through bankruptcy reorganization, and eventually they did exactly that. He also said that any needed loans should come from the private sector. He never said that the industry should be liquidated, or that he would deny federal funds if he were president, and private sector funds were not available. Obama lies! 4. The Benghazi coverup and lies.

The Dems sound like they are having a melt down. More childishness. This is what's teaching? They can stomp their feet and pout all they want. People will see it for what it is. Also, high school seniors are not old enough to vote so what is that about? Gov Romney's state was ranked #1 in the nation in education and remains #1. They are pretty silly. What is Florida's rank??

Very curious post. Why, when Romney currently has only a 25% chance of winning and the electoral college vote is so far in Obama's favor, would Democrats being the ones having a melt down? In reality, it is people like yourself and Coulter95 digging up these old threads looking for anyplace to spread lies in a last ditch, desperate effort that even one person might read your nonsense and believe it. Here is where the vote stands and it is far from anything that Democrats are melting down about, but instead, we are chilling the champaign bottles... http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/10/25/oct-24-in-polls-romneys-momentum-seems-to-have-stopped/

It takes time to build a home. You start by debushing, then laying the foundation to move forward. Obama spent 4 years deBUSHing, clearing up all of Pres. Bush mess. Now its time to move forward America. Kent - http://www.mautostore.com
