Free Landlord Training Course on Codes, Ordinances

The program is free for landlords, and will discuss codes and ordinances.

This just in from the city of Tampa:

Mayor Bob Buckhorn, the Neighborhood Empowerment Department, and Tampa Police Department in partnership with the Greater Tampa Association of Realtors is kicking off the Mayor’s inaugural Landlord Training course on Tuesday, September 24.

“Landlords can make or break a neighborhood which is why it is important we send a strong message to those who are not following rules and regulations. We want to help educate those landlords who simply don’t know the rules, and support those who want to be responsible property managers,” said Mayor Bob Buckhorn.

This free half-day course will provide participants the opportunity to hear from the City of Tampa’s Neighborhood Empowerment Department along with the Tampa Police Department regarding code requirements, code enforcement procedures, property maintenance, and crime deterrence.
