Free Consumer Fraud and Identity Theft Prevention Workshop Offered

U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor will hold a Consumer Fraud and Identity Theft Prevention Workshop from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, at the Cyrus Greene Community Center, 2101 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

The workshop will feature experts from the Federal Trade Commission who will address the following topics:

  • Credit reports: fraud alerts, free annual reports and credit scores.
  • Financial issues: credit cards, foreclosure assistance and work-at-home scams.

The workshop is free and open to the public.
