Woman Claims Roommate Robbed Her

Here is a look back at the Tampa Police Department's crime blotter for the last week.

Friday July 6

  • A woman in the 100 block of North Bay Street was robbed of her computer and believes it was her roommate that took the items. Earlier in the day, she had told him that he couldn't live with her anymore and proceeded to hide her computer thinking he would come looking for it. Police processed the scene and combed the neighborhood looking for the man but could not find him.

Tuesday July 10

  • Thieves forced their way into a business in the 4500 block of North Florida Avenue stealing a handgun and $1,500 in cash. The alarm was activated but the suspects escaped before the police got there.
