Two Tampa Homes with Unlocked Bathroom Windows Burglarized

Electronics, DVDs and money were taken.

Tampa Police are investigating two reports of residential burglaries where the thief entered through an unlocked bathroom window, according to an incident report.

Both incidents were reported Wednesday. The first report came from a home in the 8400 block of North Hamner Avenue. Between 3 and 6 p.m., someone entered the apartment through an unlocked bathroom window and removed a Garmin GPS unit and five DVDs.

The second burglary was reported in the 1500 block of East Lambright Street. Sometime between 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, someone entered the home through the bathroom window and walked out the front door a 32-inch Westinghouse flat-screen TV, more than $300 in cash and $25 in loose change.
