Two Shootings Under Investigation

Tampa Police are searching for three gunmen in two unrelated shootings.

In what appear to be unrelated incidents, Tampa Police have responded to two shootings in Tampa since Sunday evening.

The first shooting was reported at approximately 5:50 p.m. Monday at 1715 E. Annie St., according to a news release. Officers found Oscar M. Lizzardi, 39, lying on the ground. He had been shot multiple times and was taken to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition.

Police described the shooters as two Hispanic men armed with handguns, clean shaven and with short dark hair. One was in his early 30s, 5-feet-8-inches to 6 feet tall, with a stocky build. The second man was in his mid to late 30s and slightly taller with a thin build. Their vehicle was described as an early model burgundy Buick sedan or a similar make.

The second shooting was reported about 2:30 a.m. Monday at 4013 N. 29th St., according to a news release. Police said the attacker knocked at the front door and asked for the victim by name. The elderly homeowner let him in and he confronted the victim, Robert "Ice Man" Ivery, 58, who was lying on the sofa.

Police said words were exchanged between Ivery and the man, who shot Ivery in the abdomen and left leg. The gunman left the home headed west on East Ida Street. Ivery was taken to Tampa General Hospital for surgery.

The attacker was described as a black, 40 to 50 years old, 6 feet tall and wearing a blue and white striped shirt.
