Tampa Police Looking for Chocolate-Syrup-Squirting, Kitty-Litter-Throwing Thieves

Someone ransacked a house on West Idlewild and made a huge mess before taking electronics and two bikes.

Tampa Police are looking for the burglar(s) who ransacked a house Monday on the 800 block of West Idlewild Avenue, stealing electronics and two bikes.

Between 8:05 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., someone entered the residence through an unlocked bedroom window on the south side of the home, according to an incident report released by Tampa Police District 2.

Once  inside, the burglar(s) dumped dresser drawers and threw hundreds of DVDs on the living room floor. They also threw kitty litter all through the house and into to the bathtub. Food was scattered all over the kitchen floor and chocolate syrup was squirted on the TV, floor, door and furniture.

Items reported as missing from the home included: an X-BOX 360, a Wii game system, a Nintendo DSI, a Dell laptop computer and two bikes. Police obtained finger prints as well a partial Nike Air Force One shoe print. No description of a suspect was released.
