Seminole Heights Elementary Teacher Charged With Abusing 5-Year-Old Student

Tampa Police say that she rubbed a shoe on the face of a 5-year-old autistic student.

A Seminole Heights Elementary School teacher has been charged with child abuse, according to an article on TBO.com.

The article says that Esraa Mohamed Soliman, of 10858 Breaking Rocks Drive, Tampa, rubbed a shoe on the face of a 5-year-old autistic student. Soliman is a temporary teacher at the school.

she should be fired and not permitted to teach ANYWHERE in the U.S. EVER.

I tell you that if I would of thrown a shoe at my teacher at 5 years old or any age I would have been punished by my mother and wthe whole family. Perhaps this teacher's methods were a bit too drastic but child abuse, really? I would have to know a lot more. Now she will be branded as a child abuser when perhaps a few years back this would have been considered a strict disciplinarian. It seems like we go to extremes now a days.
