Road Closures Reported
Roads are temporarily closed at several locations throughout Tampa due to Thursday's storm.
Tampa Police have reported the following road closures due to the weather and storm damage:
- Interbay Boulevard between MacDill Avenue and Bayshore Boulevard -- due to storm damage, a roof ripped off a Citgo Gas station and homes in the area.
- Bayshore Boulevard northbound at Rome Avenue, one lane only -- due to elevated water levels.
- Martin Luther King Boulevard between MacDill Avenue and Armenia Avenue -- due to scaffolding pulled away from the construction site.
Police are directing traffic at intersections throughout the city due to traffic light outages.
