One Arrest, $2,000 Worth of Property and Money Jar Stolen

Arrest:

Booker Ray, 51, of East Tampa, was arrested on May 17 on charges of burglary and grand theft in connection to a burglary at 302 W. Wilder Ave. He was released on May 18 on a $9,500 bond.

  • Someone smashed the front passenger window of a vehicle parked at 806 W. Downs Ct. and stole $2,000 worth of property.

Monday, May 21

  • An auto burglary was reported at 908 E. Genessee St. The culprit took 10 CDs from an unlocked vehicle.

  • A burglary was reported in the 1900 block of E. Flora St. The culprit pried the door open and ransacked the house. Reported taken were: two televisions, a laptop, and a money jar.
