Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Nebraska Avenue
Tampa Police say 25-year-old crashed into back of pickup.
Tampa Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Thursday on Nebraska Avenue at East Yukon Street.
A 25-year-old motorcyclist was heading north on Nebraska Avenue at a high rate of speed when he crashed into the back of a pickup that was also headed north, police said in a news release.
The motorcycle driver was tossed about 50 yards from the point of impact. He was rushed to Tampa General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
