Molotov Cocktails Thrown Through Window on Cayuga Street

No one was injured in the occupied house, authorities say.

Authorities are looking for someone suspected of throwing two Molotov cocktails through the window of a home near Seminole Heights.

Earlier this week, the cocktails were thrown at a home, 103 Cayuga Street, while the eight occupants of the home slept, according to a report from the Tampa Police Department.

The cocktails were made from glass bottles, cloth wicks and oil-based repellant, the report said.

Two areas of damage were spotted at the home, and the damage was estimated at $200.

The incident may be in retaliation from a prior incident at the home, the report said.

There were no injuries, and the arson investigation is ongoing.
