Patch: How did you become interested in policing?

Power: Family ties. My dad was a police officer in Weymouth, Mass., and my uncle too.

Patch: What’s your most memorable call?

Power: I’ve had several. Usually the calls that stick out are the ones involving children. Most of the officers have soft spots for children.

Patch: Do you have a hero or mentor?

Power: My parents, for their values.

Patch: What’s your favorite color?

Power: Blue.

Patch: What’s the last movie you saw?

Power: “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.” It was good.
