Patch: How did you become interested in firefighting?
Quatrino: I had a few friends who had brothers on the job. From talking to them, it sounded like a good line of work, a good profession to get into.
Patch: What’s your most memorable call?
Quatrino: We had to go out to the cops that got killed last year. (Tampa Police Officers David Curtis and Jeffery Kocab died June 29, 2010.) It’s not memorable in a good way. You work with them, so it’s a little closer to home than your day-to-day runs. A little more personal.
Patch: What’s your favorite color?
Quatrino: Blue.
Patch: What’s the last movie you saw?
Quatrino: “Toy Story 3,” with the kids. I thought it was all right.
