Man Shot in the Buttocks During Drug Deal

Deandre Adams shot Antonio Butler in the buttocks once.

A Sulphur Springs man was rushed to the hospital after being shot late Wednesday night, according to a Tampa Police report. 

Deandre Adams, 20, shot Antonio Butler, 31, in the buttocks once, in the area of North 12th Street and East Eskimo Avenue about 11:30 p.m. The two men were involved in a narcotic transaction at the moment of the incident. 

Butler was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he was expected to live.

Adams was arrested and charged with aggravated battery, according to the Tampa Police report. His address is listed as at large.
