Missing Elderly Man Found Safe

Tampa Police had been searching for a man suffering from Alzheimer's in the Seminole Heights area.

Update, 8:30 p.m.:

The missing man was found wandering the neighborhood, Tampa Police said in a news release. He was confused, but he is safe, officials said.

The Tampa Police Department is currently searching for 68-year old Paul Disilvestro.

Disilvestro suffers from Alzheimer's and is on multiple medications that he requires on a daily basis, officials said. It was around 1 p.m. today that he went missing from his home at 705 West Fribley St..

He is described as being around 6 feet tall and has dyed black hair. He was last seen wearing shorts, a T-shirt and grey tennis shoes with velcro straps.

Given the time of his disappearance, Disilvestro could have travelled a fair distance, officials said. Anyone who has seen him is asked to call Tampa Police immediately to ensure that he returns home safely.
