It's Tampa Police vs. Tampa Firefighters For a Good Cause

The Badge Bowl IX, a flag football showdown hosted by Tampa Bay Buccaneer Earnest Graham and Bucs legend Derrick Brooks, will raise money and spread awareness about children's cancer.

The men and women of the Tampa Police Department and Tampa Fire Rescue share much in common, all of them putting their lives on the line each day to help people stay safe.

But this Saturday, May 6, they'll be pitted against each other for a good cause.

Tampa's police officers (aka the "Gladiators") and firefighters (team "Firestorm") will square off in Badge Bowl IX, an annual flag football game that raises money and spreads awareness about children's cancer.

That will be followed by a parade and medal ceremony featuring local childhood cancer patients and their siblings, and then the flag football game, which kicks off at 1:20 p.m.
