Homes Burned Near Seminole Heights May Be Arson

The fires were all near the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. and Florida Ave.

UPDATE:

Three houses near Seminole Heights may have been intentionally set on fire, according to Tampa Fire Rescue Officials.

The three fires were reported at the following addresses and times:

  • 5:47 am, 3809 North Highland Ave. (vacant home destroyed)
  • 6:27 am, 3810 North Tampa St. (minor damage to vacant home)
  • 6:29 am, 3802 North Arlington Ave. (minor damage to vacant home)

Officials with Tampa Fire Rescue responded this morning to three fires near the area southwest of Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. and Florida Ave. 

There were three fires that are under control and extinguished. No one was injured, officials say.
